Gerard J. Martillotti, Esquire
Founder

Jerry Martillotti has practiced law for over 17 years as a trial litigator. His entire practice has been devoted to fighting for injured victims in Courts throughout the United States of America. Jerry started his law practice in a well respected national plaintiff’s litigation firm located in Washington D.C. and focused his practice in Medical Malpractice, Auto Accidents and Products Liability. He developed his trial skills working on high profile litigation involving some of the most accomplished lawyers in the nation at the time. During the early part of his career he worked extensively on complex product liability litigation and worked on the landmark case Daubert v. Merrell Dow and developed a love of trial practice in this unique setting.
In 1994, Jerry moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and since that time up until today, Jerry Martillotti has been working on Railroad Injury cases known as FELA cases. His FELA practice developed over the years along with his continued work in Medical Malpractice, General Negligence cases and Auto Accident cases. Jerry is licensed to practice law in 5 States and in 8 Federal Courts of Law. He has taken over 50 cases to trial and has enjoyed tremendous courtroom success. Many of his successful results were achieved in cases where the defendant made no serious attempt to settle the cases. He has obtained settlements in a number of jurisdictions that have given his client’s a satisfactory result to a difficult situation.

He has also successfully handled many appellate cases including recent landmark cases, Crehanga v. Jardal, in the Supreme Court of New Jersey that changed the law on the methodology used in expert witness testimony.  He also successfully argued Mix v. CP Rail in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit which expanded the rules related to Statutes of Limitations in FELA cases allowing workers that have exposure or repetitive injuries greater access to the court system.

Jerry was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Scranton and graduated with Honors. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. He now resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania with wife Mary Ann and his three children.  Jerry remains active in the community, volunteering his time services to many local community organizations.
